What are cookies

A cookie is a small file that stores Internet settings. Most websites use cookie technology. The cookie is downloaded by your web browser (Chrome, Internet Explorer, Mozilla, Safari, etc.) the first time you visit a website. When you return to this site using the same device, the cookie and the information stored therein is either sent back to the website that created it ("first-party cookie") or sent to another website to which it belongs ("third-party cookie"). This allows the website to detect that you have already visited it with the same browser and, in some cases, to offer different content.

Some cookies are very useful because they help improve the user experience, especially when the user visits a website that has already been visited several times. For example, cookies can store your preferences as long as you use the same device and browser as before. Cookies are also used to track how you use a site and tailor content to match your needs and interests.

Depending on their function and purpose, cookies can be divided into four categories: strictly necessary cookies, performance cookies, functional cookies, and marketing cookies.

Your cookie settings on our site

Strictly necessary cookies

We use these cookies to:

  • Allow you to navigate from one page to another without losing the actions previously performed during the same session;
  • Allow load balancing for better site performance;
  • Remember your previous actions, such as your consent to the use of cookies.

Your consent is not required for the use of strictly necessary cookies.

They allow you to browse our site and use the features available. Without these cookies, essential services cannot be provided. Such services include, for example, remembering your past actions such as your consent choices. These cookies are used exclusively by our site ("first-party cookie"). They are only deployed when you visit our site and are deleted once you close your web browser. These cookies also allow access to our site via a mobile device and facilitate the transition from http to https when you change pages, to preserve the security of the data transmitted. These cookies also store your decision regarding the use of cookies on our websites.

Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled.

Functional cookies

We use these cookies to:

  • Remember your preferences;
  • Provide you with multimedia content according to your technical needs;
  • Keep your authentication information.

Functional cookies allow our site to record information already entered (such as usernames and language choices), in order to improve your user experience. These cookies are also used to enable the features you request, such as video playback. The data collected via functional cookies cannot be used to identify you personally and they cannot track your movements on other websites.

Functional cookies are by default disabled when you visit our site. They are deployed only when you have consented to their activation.

Performance cookies

We use these cookies to:

  • Know how visitors interact with our site;
  • know more about the path of our visitors;
  • Improve our site and adapt it to the needs of our visitors.

Performance cookies collect information about how visitors interact with our site. This allows us to see which pages are visited so that we have a complete picture of our visitors' browsing experience. They do not collect or save information that can be directly and personally attributed to you. The information collected through these cookies will generally be processed in an aggregated manner. These cookies are used exclusively to improve the performance of our site and to tailor the experience to the needs of our visitors.

By default, performance cookies are disabled when you visit our site. They are deployed only when you have consented to their activation.

Marketing cookies

We use these cookies to:

  • Make online advertising, content or banner ads more relevant to you;
  • Create online advertising that appeals to the right people with the right information;
  • Prevent the continual reappearance of the same ads.

Cookies for marketing purposes collect information about visitors' browsing habits in order to deliver advertisements that are more relevant to them and their interests. They collect information on when visitors last visited a website and the route they took while browsing. This information is used to build a profile of your interests so that ads about you can be displayed on websites other than ours. Another advantage of these marketing cookies is that the information collected can be used to limit the number of times you see an advertisement in order to avoid overexposure.

These cookies for marketing purposes are placed on our site on the basis of your consent and controlled by selected third parties. Also, customers who visit our site and accept cookies in this category are also customers of these other third parties and give their consent to the deployment and use not only to us but also to the third party that controls cookies for marketing purposes.
